FSD at the 23rd Annual Detroit Tree Lighting
Join Figure Skating in Detroit as we kick off our 10th anniversary season at the 23rd annual Detroit Tree Lighting, presented by DTE Foundation and produced by the Downtown Detroit Partnership.
This year, our girls take the ice in a special performance introduced by Meryl Davis, the 2014 Olympic ice dance champion who helped establish FSD right here in Detroit. It’s one of our favorite nights of the year, a chance for our skaters to show the community what a season of hard work looks like, and for FSD to kick off a season of giving back.
The evening brings more than 1 million sparkling lights, live music and performances, Olympic ice dance stars Madison Chock and Evan Bates headlining the ice show, food trucks, and a visit from Santa, all free and open to the public in the heart of downtown Detroit.
Come cheer on our girls, and stay for the magic of the season.
